Guggulu Formulations
Guggulu is the oleogum resin from a small tree (Commiphora mukul (Hooker, Stedor) which grows in northwestern India. It has anti-inflammatory and lipid-lowering actions. It helps remove fat, excess fluids and ama from the body and penetrates deep into the tissues. An effective Kapha- and Vata-pacifying supplement when used alone, we now offer guggulu in these time-tested compound formulations. All are 250 mg capsules; 60 capsules per bottle.
Kanchanar Guggulu
Kanchanar guggulu is traditionally used in Ayurveda in the treatment of thyroid
disease, corpulence (obesity) and skin disorders. It was also traditionally
used as a remedy for sore throat and hemorrhoids. It reduces both Pitta and
Kapha doshas.
