Niam Infrastructure’s investment team brings together entrepreneurial professionals with extensive experience across infrastructure, energy transition and investment management. The team leverages its industry knowledge and investment experience to assess opportunities, work closely with partners and portfolio companies, and create long-term value for investors.
Sverker is the Founding Partner and Head of Infrastructure at Niam Group.
He brings close to 20 years of experience in energy and infrastructure investments. He leads the infrastructure strategy and investment activities, focusing on creating long-term value for investors.
Before establishing Niam Infrastructure in 2021, Sverker was one of the founding members of BlackRock Renewable Power, where he served as Head of Investments for Continental Europe.
Sverker holds a Master of Science (MSc) from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Linus Hägg is Chief Investment Officer of Niam Infrastructure. Linus has more than 20 years of experience from financing and M&A, including 12 years within energy and infrastructure.
Prior to joining Niam Infrastructure, Linus spent 10 years at Arise AB, a listed renewable energy developer, most recently as CFO. Before joining Arise AB Linus worked within investment banking for 10 years.
Johanna Friberg is a Director at Niam Infrastructure and is part of the investment team.
Johanna is a former portfolio manager at the Swedish pension fund Alecta, where she was responsible for building up their infrastructure portfolio, including investments within energy, primarily renewables, and telecom.
Johan Lindsö is an Associate Director within the investment team at Niam Infrastructure, where he works on acquisitions and operational management of project companies.
Johan previously worked on project acquisitions and strategy at the wind and solar power company OX2. Johan holds a master's degree in finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.
Hjalmar Åhman is an Associate within the investment team at Niam Infrastructure where he is involved in the analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities and day-to-day tasks.
He holds a MSc in Real Estate and Construction Management from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
Gustav Hägglund is an Analyst within the investment team at Niam Infrastructure, where he focuses on financial analysis, market research, and supporting the execution of investment opportunities.
He has a background in finance, with prior experience at Standout Capital, ABG Sundal Collier, and SEB. Gustav holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
